In her current role, Ms. Benskin leads Grant Alexander in successfully completing executive and professional search assignments on regional, national and international levels. Her clients view her as a trusted advisor and long-term business partner. Using creativity, persistence and her intuitive business sense, Ms. Benskin ensures the satisfaction of her client companies and the candidates she places.

Ms. Benskin founded SSP Search Solutions in 2004 and grew the firm into one of the top specialty search organizations in the St. Louis area. In 2009, SSP Search Solutions became Grant Alexander, a separate company of BPI group, a leading human resources and management consultancy. Ms. Benskin also has held positions in accounting, human resources and executive search.

Her executive search connections are further strengthened through ongoing membership in several Human Resources and Accounting organizations. Ms. Benskin is currently the Past-President of the St. Louis Chapter of the National Human Resources Association (NHRA). In addition to her involvement in business associations, Ms. Benskin serves on the board of Youth In Need, a nonprofit child and family services agency.

She earned a BSBA with an emphasis in accounting and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.

Matt Kerr is the Director of Executive Search and Talent with Grant Alexander, an executive search firm dedicated to helping clients find exceptional candidates who can contribute in meaningful ways to their businesses.

He brings more than 25 years of human resources experience including research, executive search, career transition, talent acquisition and human resources management. Mr. Kerr has a proven track record in leveraging extensive industry contacts as well as functional groups and organizations to quickly identify and develop top candidates.

Prior to joining Grant Alexander, Mr. Kerr conducted executive searches as a principal for Talent Integration, He has significant experience in Human Resources which includes leading the Human Resources function for a large engineering company and 15 years experience at Motorola in several positions, including senior human resources management roles. Additionally, Mr. Kerr served as a coach with several career management firms.

Mr. Kerr has a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in business from Loyola University of Chicago. He is highly connected to the human resources community, and serves as the site owner and group moderator of The Chicagoland HR Transition Group, a 1,400-plus member online community that facilitates career networking among HR professionals in the Chicago market. Mr. Kerr is also an elected Board of Education official for his local community.

Prior to joining Grant Alexander, Ms. Kelly successfully launched two start-up recruitment firms, with her primary focus on permanent and temporary placements in the financial industry. Before entering the recruitment field, she worked for Scudder, Stevens & Clark, a private investment management firm where she managed portfolios totaling $3.5 billion in assets.
